Alima Pure - Our Founder
Kate O’Brien, a mother and kindergarten teacher, founded Alima Pure in 2004 in the attic of her home. She wasn’t a makeup artist or beauty industry insider. At that time the natural beauty landscape was very different. But Kate had a vision of providing natural and delicate makeup that truly enhanced natural beauty. She saw the need to create makeup products for the 'Modern Women' that would be lightweight and almost undetectable on the skin.
Kate saw the need for a brand that focused on natural ingredients. She chooses to use only essential minerals to create her makeup products. Since those days, Alima Pure has become synonymous with clean beauty due to its commitment to creating cruelty-free formulas with premium ingredients. It's products are made with clinically tested alima pure ingredients like nourishing aloe vera, raspberry seed oil, and marine minerals that refresh and revive the skin. Alima Pure makeup is also made with only the highest quality ingredients like aloe vera extract, rose petals, marula oil, albizia extract, rosehip oil, and antioxidants.
